I had my top denture in fell asleep woke up i changed from fixedent to poligrip i guess my gums didnt like it i took out my teeth and the whole top felt like they were on fire i havent put them back in due to it still hurting bad can i rub lidocai?

Do not use and substance in your mouth that is not intended for intraoral use. Further issues can arise. It is possible that you had a reaction to the poligrip. Dentures should be removed when you are asleep to help prevent a fungal infection on the gingival surface. If you do have a surface infection your dentist can prescribe Mycelex Troches to treat your issue.
