Hi doctor, my 2 years old baby infected in chikenpox, please let me know best cream for chikenpox itch?

I use frequent lukewarm baths to remove the salty sweat that triggers the itch by invading the wounds. I also use Benadryl or other antihistamines. I do not find creams helpful. I find Calamine irritating and stinky.

Keep nails trim and cotton socks on his or her hands during sleep will reduce the likelihood of infection. A topical combination of calamine and benadryl is available over the counter.
