How likely is it for covid to make a child throw up in the early stages of the illness? hubby & i both have covid & our 5 year old daughter has been coughing & has a stuffy nose & she just threw up a little bit ago after complaining of a stomachche?

Vomiting and stomachache can definitely be symptoms of COVID-19 (as well as other viruses) as can the cough and stuffy nose. She should definitely be tested for COVID-19 and if positive, discuss further with her doctor. Meanwhile for the vomiting, let her stomach rest by not eating or drinking for a couple of hours, then start with some clear fluids and increase gradually to prevent dehydration.
