Left side of head has been visibly pulsating on an off for a few weeks now. i can see my pulse above my ear and between my ear an eye (in my hair line / where sunglasses would rest between ear an eye there is frequent seen movement. what is this?

That is the area of temporal artery and I doubt of any significance. Just observe for now and let us know when you have new symptoms. By the way, check you blood pressure if you have not had it done for quite some time.
