After a cotton wool spot during my eye exam my retinologist asked i get an ecg in case of clots. the results came back - sinus rhythm with short pr otherwise normal ecg no previous ecgs is a short pr an issue in itself? thanks?

There might be misunderstanding, but an ecg cannot rule out clots. At a minimum a echocardiogram will be needed. The significance of short pr remains unclear, your doc should be able to clarify in proper clinical context.
