A member asked:

Ecg: normal sinus rhythm, incomplete right bundle branch block, borderline ecg. dr said right bundle branch block related to my asthma so not worried about it. can someone explain what the rbbb and borderline ecg mean. thanks?

Conduction system : Right bundle branch block refers to a change in the electrical conduction system of heart. Can be related to stretching of the heart muscle or minor damage to that area of heart. As isolated finding it is not uncommon and doesn’t indicate any increased cardiac risk by itself.ECG read as borderline because other findings in addition to RBB might merit investigation if they appear on subsequent ECGs
