I can feel my submandibular lymph nodes. they are 1/2 inch wide and 1/5 cm long, there bean shaped. i have them under both sides of my jaw. im not sure l've theyve changed and i've no symptoms of lymphoma and infection. ive had them for 3 years????

I think that you can relax. If you have bilateral palpable submandibular masses, they are likely your submandibular salivary glands. If they are symmetric in size, soft, mobile, and has not changed in three years you have very little to be concerned about.

You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
