Yes, you should be checked. Drenching night sweats, where your night clothes are soaked or your sheets are wet, can be from hormonal changes, but they can also be a sign of cancer, particularly lymphoma and leukemia. I agree with the prior doctor who said you need some lab tests and a good physical exam and possibly some imaging studies, so please see a doctor!

If you do not have fever and have not lost weight, you may watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
