If everything else: is eliminated as a possible cause, then yes, Lexapro (escitalopram) has this as a side effect, although it is not the most common one. Consult with your prescribing MD and ask if reducing the dose will accomplish the goal and reduce annoying sweating. There are other SSRI's or SSNRI's. Why are you depressed. Consider seeing a psychologist?
