Due to a severe allergic reaction to fluoride that has ruined my teeth and made them excruciatingly brittle and constantly breaking would a full tooth extraction be safe during pregnancy?

You are most likely suffering from severe dental decay, not a fluoride allergy. In any event, have your dentist consult with your OBGYN regarding all your teeth extracted at this time.

At your age you should want to save as many of your teeth as possible. The decay is probably from poor oral hygiene and or diet. Bad teeth and gums can cause premature delivery and low birth weight. Have your dentist and OBGYN doctor consult for best advice.

Fluoride allergy extremely rare. Does not cause brittle enamel. Fluorosis from too much fluoride can cause staining. See an Oral Medicine specialist to determine the real cause of your brittleness. Call your local Dental Society for list of Dental Medicine specialists in your area. Also see a specialist Prosthodontist for best restorative replacement choices. Dentists will coordinate w your OBGyn.
