Question about hiv testing. did a rapid test at about 8 weeks, test annotation states it uses double antigen sandwich technique. is this 3rd generation? can i trust the result? testing material serum, blood collected from vein. thanks?

The double antigen sandwich assay technique is reported to be more sensitive and specific and could be trusted. It is however more important with the available information and knowledge to be more cautious and to have habit of prevention rather than being anxious about the assay. The pre exposure prophylaxis is also an option.
