Did a urine culture& colony count document the presence of a urinary tract infection? If so, was a follow-up urine culture done& was it negative? If so, your urethral discomfort could be from a nonbacterial urethritis or a prostatitis. Consult a urologist for evaluation & treatment if urethral pain persists. Appropriate testing will be ordered

Anal pain/surgery can affect urination as the sensory nerves are related. Try sitz baths and Ibuprfen for afew days . if not better see a Urologist
