Yes. Whether you are embracing self destructive life changes that result in short term or long term harm it is abnormal behavior with a purpose. Your therapist needs to know.

You are engaging is self destructive behavior. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Quit smoking and drinking. Wish you good health!
