A member asked:

Uterus retroverted, enlarged with bulky appearance, myometrium homogenous with increased vascularity. es 9mm, with internal debris (ongoing menses) bilateral ovaries wnl. what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is no cancer or any other significant issue. Retroverted uterus by itself is not a problem, unless you are trying to get pregnant. All imaging studies should be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the study is usually in the best position to do that, so talk to your doctor. Get HPV vaccine.
