Other diagnosis?: A 2.5 cm ovarian cyst is unlikely to cause pain, that size is within the threshold of what we term physiologic cysts, or cysts that every woman has ever month. However, it's possible that your pain isn't coming so much from cyst as it is from endometriosis or scar tissue in pelvic area. Have you had previous surgery? Has doctor ever evaluated for endometriosis? Don't suffer, see doc for treatment.
