Stabbing pain in same area of head for months. numerous doctors say i'll be fine but no one is scanning my head. ive read online if you have stabbing pain in hesd its normal. unless its always in the same area. then its a tumour. how can i get a scan?

There are specific criteria for imaging the brain. Having stabbing pain in your head is not normal, your symptom suggests ice pick headache, among other types of headaches. Make sure you understand from your main doc/GP/PCP what the diagnosis would be and how to address such pain. Otherwise indiscriminate Internet use in trying to explain your problem will create anxiety and frustration.
