Hydroceles originate in the balloon like coverings of the testis as it travels from near the kidneys during fetal development, down into the scrotal sack. Normally the coverings adhere tightly to the blood vessels that keep the testis alive, and prevents anything from fluid to a hernia from coming down. If a small opening lets fluid through, it persists and may increase. Surgery may be needed

"They say' people are not docs but give free erroneous and often worrisome advice. Pl ignore and never solicit it. Always ask your doc. Hydroceles do not reduce with rest. They say the same or enlarge. The only way is to see a Urologist and get treated. Good luck.
