Dr said there is fluid in my but didn't see redness. put me on keflex. i am on more then 24 hrs and it is not helping. could it still be an infection?? feels worse since before started. told to take afrin spray. how long does it take to work?

You don't say the location of the suspected infection, but mention of Afrin spray suggests sinus, right? 24 hours is much too soon to expect improvement from antibiotics. Keep taking the drug, use Afrin as directed, and contact your doctor if still no better after a week or so (or if seriously painful or otherwise worse before then). Good luck.
