A member asked:

I have had an ear infection for 9 weeks and have taken a z pack, keflex 3 times, a nasal spray, a steroid pack. what else is there to do for my ears?

Consider myringotomy: You may no longer have an ear infection, but rather retained fluid in the middle ear. This can resolve with time or be treated with an incision of the ear drum (myringotomy) which facilitates air flow into your middle ear space and drainage of the fluid.
