Went to the dr last week for ear pain. dr said there was fluid in my ear but didn't see redness. i am on keflex more than 24 hrs. can this be ear infection? how long does it take to work? pain worse then before went on. feel it in jaw too?

Second time you have asked -- previously you didn't say the site and I assumed sinus. But the answer is the same for the ear, probably otitis media. No antibiotic starts to improve symptoms (for any infection) as soon as 24 hr, and worsening pain for a couple of days also is common. Contact your doctor if pain is still increasing after another day or two, or if no improvement after 4-5 days.
