Why would i get a lump on breast below areola? pea size lump, painful, red. dr gave keflex and said hair follicle infection. below hair area. keflex seems to be working. less swollen and red. hair follicle? do i need any other exam if it clears up?

In person diagnosis by your doctor is much more reliable than anything a distant forum doctor can say. But certainly your description is typical for an infected hair follicle or other superficial skin infection.
