Jerks and Spasms: You should start by seeing your dr so he or she may obtain a more detailed history, review your medication profile & examine you. Laboratory testing including electrolytes, liver and kidney function will likely be obtained. Mri of the neck and brain may be needed. A neurology consultation is also recommended periodic leg movements of sleep may be causing your leg jerking during sleep. Good luck.
