Relatively safe, however the changes noted may have been related to his known condition or another undiagnosed condition, uncontrolled symptoms, such as pain are notorious in causing such changes.

Your Father's medication should be managed by his Psychiatrist. If you are not confident in his Psychiatrist please see another for a second opinion.
