I have strep throat and i got an injection to treat the strep and the doctor said it will take about a few weeks to feel better. how much weeks exactly will it take, cause it's been 5 weeks now. will i need to give it another couple more weeks????

If you received the standard injection for strep throat, symptoms would improve in a few days and transmissibility would end after a day or two. If you remain symptomatic after weeks, you likely had something like mono, which has a similar appearance and can be present with strep as a co-infection. Talk with your doc.
