You can always: have another bacterial infection that is not Streptococcus. Perhaps you had some antibiotics given two weeks ago? Or if not, then you may need some at this point if there is bacterial suprainfection. You need to see your doctor again for re-examination and proper diagnosis. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
