I am currently on antibiotics for strep throat (for about 24hrs). my entire tonsil is covered in white. when i last talked to my doctor it did not look like this. should i give the antibiotics more time? is this just a really bad case of strep?

24 hours is not enough time for the antibiotics to reduce your condition. A 10 day regimen of antibiotics is prescribed for your condition, take them as prescribed and you should be fine, if not contact your doctor.
