Strep test was neg but doc said tonsils had white spots so he prescribed cefdinir. im on day 3 and throat is still as bad if not worse. any advice?

Takes time.: Tonsillitis is usually bacterial and takes time to clear. Cefdinir should be a decent choice, but if you’re not better by the fifth or sixth day of antibiotics you should be evaluated.
