The answer would only be appropriate if it came from the doctor who knows you full history/exam/testing/etc. Ethanol is a toxin that must be de-toxified by the liver. Unless your jaundice was from a minor issue, I would not recommend any alcohol intake.

Regardless of the actual reason for your jaundice, alcohol remains highly toxic for your liver which was likely involved directly or indirectly in the jaundice episode.
