I noticed an indentation on the right side of my head and my temple area. there is no pain or anything strange just a weird indentation. does anyone know what would cause such a thing? i have not had a head injury?

You might have that indentation for many years since birth but you had not recognized it until now. That deformity may happen during fetal life or by the delivery time. However, if you are sure you did not have this indentation before and it is a new finding you should see your family doctor for an exam and a skull X-ray should be done at the least.
