I just had a warm feeling up the side of my head. it went from the base of head to my temple area maybe a little higher. it almost felt like when your hand falls asleep. anyone know what can cause this? should i be worried about this?

You did not indicate the duration of the sensation and whether you have had it previously or underlying medical condition; it is insufficient information to tell you what could be causing it and the prognosis. However the head is highly vascularized area and I cannot compare hand falling asleep with warm feeling. If transient with no reoccurence you may ignore otherwise seek evaluation.
