Having not seen the “rash” it very well could be Hemosiderin deposits. This is caused by leakage of blood from your veins into the soft tissue. The body will absorb everything except the iron pigment. This is something you want to watch if you have edema or swelling. Not to be ignored. Walking helps. If you have edema mention this to your family doctor
