I found out i was pregnant and i had to get off citalopram what can i do about the withdrawals i am having?

Pregnant: It is very hard to put a finger on what to do. The fact is, the right thing was done that you stopped citalopram, but it is hard to use any medication to help with withdrawls seeing that you are expecting. Have some support system, like friends and family and try to do your normal routines. Try to get rest and eat right.

Wait it out.: Just wait it out. Get some exercise, eat healthy and take your vitamins. What you are experiencing are not withdrawal symptoms since citalopram is nit an addictive drug but what they call "discontinuation syndrome" reminiscent of the symptoms of depression before the citalopram was started. It usually lasts a couple of weeks . It will help you continue ( or go to) individual psychotherapy.
