Depends on person : Whether or not to use antidepressants depends in pregnancy is a decision that needs to be made between you and your doctor. This should be made on a case by case basis balancing the known risks of not treating depression vs the theoretical risk of medication exposure. Your age of 38 also has risk. You shoudl schedule a preconceptual counseling visit.
