I had sex with someone, a week later she got uti symptoms. she took bactrim, it cleared in 2 days, and has remained good for about 5 days after the last dose. is she going to be ok? i'm getting tested obviously but what else could have caused it?

She should be. Sometimes uti like symptoms can occur in women depending on the vigorousness of sex and part of bladder impacted.
