When I first started morning Valsartan 80mg I took it for a month and it didn't lower my baseline bp (130/80), until I started taking it at bedtime (lowered to 110/70). Back then I didn't know I had sleep apnea. Can you explain why it didn't work?
Resmed APAP for sleep apnea shows an AHI of 1 to 2 per night (which is normal) however wake up multiple times every night and feel hyperarousal/anxiety in morning which subsides in the evening. How to reduce sympathetic overdrive? On Valsartan for bp?
