Found out im pregnant (3+3), will tapering off 2.5mg of lexapro cause miscarriage/harm to baby? i typically get pretty brutal withdrawal symptoms whenever i lower dose (been tapering from 10mg since apr). i dropped from 10 to 5mg & it was unbearable?

You should not change the dose of your med on your own. Pl cosult the prescriber explaining your present situation. Good luck

I know your obstetrician wants you to be mentally strong and not depressed during your pregnancy. However there are certain antidepressants that are considered better for the fetus. I recommend that you look into this with your prescribing physician or psychiatrist with possible assistance from your pharmacist as well.
