A member asked:

My pap results came back normal but also notes shift of flora suggestive of bacterial vaginosis , does this mean i definitely have bacterial vaginosis? i have no symptoms at all?

If you have no symptoms you do not need treatment so do not concern about it. However, based on this result you may predispose to bacterial vaginosis in the future. So when you have symptoms such as copious frothy vaginal discharge with fishy odor, you can be treated for BV without the need of testing.
