My annual pap/hpv and pap was normal but hpv detection waspositive this year but negative 16/18 with reflex genotype also shift in flora indicating bacterial vaginosis how can i be positive less than a year from previous exam? doc wants colposcopy?

See the reply to your previous similar question. Many people with HPV have intermittently positive tests. It's random and usually has no particular explanation. That your doctor advises colposcopy suggests you have not only a positive HPV test, but cellular changes on your Pap smear (dysplasia). Follow her advice! Your bacterial vaginosis is a separate problem, nothing to do with HPV.
