Noone has ever wanted to check my thyroid, so i saw something in a mag about taking actalin and ive ordered it and been taking it every day,now my kidney doctor wants to do a thyroid ultrasound,should i stop taking actalin before the test and when?

You should not take ANYTHING advised in a magazine and always tell your MD all the stuff you take. So pl. stop it and let your MD know
