Episodic pain internally abdomen, comes on quickly and is debilitating. if i dont take a hyoscamine the pain escalates to er level pain. stool are soft or diarrhea. egd, ct, colonoscopy, bloodwork all fine. hida scan next. what is it?

I wonder what your gastroenterologist thinks is the cause of these episodes. In view of the history of soft stools, your negative studies thus far and relief with hyoscamine,a gastrointestinal antispasmodic, I favor severe intestinal spasms or cramping seen in irritable bowel syndrome as the cause of your attacks of abdominal pain.
