Small amounts of free fluid are occasionally seen on an abdominal ultrasound & is not considered a problem. Failure to find the ovaries is just an indication that the study did not take time to locate them and cannot thus comment on their appearance. All such tests need to be interpreted based on your history/exam and the reason the study was done by the physician who requested it.
