I have cystitis & heavy inflammation in my bladder. we tried antibiotics, anti inflammatories, and steroids. i had the urolift procedure to to improve flow, but my prostate is not the problem. any suggestions on how to get rid of the inflammation?

Have you had a cystoscope (direct visualization of the bladder’s interior)? Sounds like you need to discuss this with you urologist if you have not. If you are CERTAIN it is NOT your prostate—which, if infected, can take a prolonged course of antibiotic—then I’d say visit your urologist for further evaluation. Oh course, drink PLENTY of water daily—-24oz per day at least. Best wishes!

I am surprised you had Urolift procedure by a Urologist without first addressing cause of bladder inflammation. I would suggest pl see another Urologist preferably at an academic center. You might need cystoscopy and biopsy and other tests. In the meantime drink plenty of water and stop taking any supplements if you do. Good luck
