Is a bp of 120/60 healthy for this 80-year-old woman?

This can be of no concern. Elderly people.often have a low diastolic blood pressure of 60 caused by less elastic arterioles or.mild diastolic dysfunction.

Blood pressure is normal, however isolated values have limited value in further health related decisions ( is this a person being treated for BP and being at goal?, was the blood pressure taken due to unexplained symptoms or just screening? is the individual known to have hypotension, previous values lower or higher, etc). Your doc should be best to place it in proper context.
