Ovary size: The normal adult ovary measures approximately 3cm - 5cm in length, 1.5cm - 3cm in width, and 0.5cm - 1.5cm in thickness; however, ovarian size is reported more often in terms of volume, or length x width x thickness x 0.523. Normal ovarian volume in the menstruating females is 5mL - 15mL, with an approximate mean of 10mL; however, measurements as high as 22mL have been reported in normal ovaries.
