Ive been taking clindamycin 450 ml since sept 21st for a dental infection, and naproxen twice day. the infection is not gone and inside of my mouth keeps swelling. what do i do?

Watch for signs of fever and difficulty swallowing. If there is continued sign of infection, please discuss a longer course or a switch of the antibiotic. An antiseptic mouth rinse three times daily often is helpful.

See a General Dentist, Oral Surgeon, or Endodontist. Antibiotics alone will NOT cure dental infection. only llimit spread of infection for as long as you take them. Infection will come roaring back when you stop taking then pills. You can't cure a dental infection with pills, potions, mouthwashes, snake oil, ointments, or lozenges. Please see Dentist ASAP as infections spread to other organs.
