Painful tooth in last few weeks with cheek swollen. took some antibiotics that was prescribed for a different infection months ago. the swelling went down but two molar teeth are loose and are moving accompanied by tooth pain. should i be concerned?

Absolutely !: You didn't think that the antibiotics were going to solve your dental problems, did you? They only control the symptoms for a very short while until you can get an appointment for dental treatment. Appears you have multiple abscesses that have weakened the bone around those teeth. Failure to see a dentist ASAP may result in a systemic infection, and most probably the loss of those teeth.

Infection: You should never have left-over antibiotics, you should always take full course. You should never take antibiotics not specified for your specific infection. Antibiotics will not cure abscess, but will help control spread of infection until they run out. You must see a Dentist for treatment of theinfecjion in addition to the proper antibiotic for at least one full course of treatment. Go now.
