Wisdom Tooth: swelling after 3 months of wisdom tooth extraction can be from different causes, chronic infection is one cause as infection can spread in different directions, and can cause osteomyelitis of the bone. Also there can be infection in another tooth or periodontal abscess formation. There can possibly be swelling form other causes not related to the teeth medical review is required
