Possible cause of upper left intermittent sharp pain. feels like a side stitch but random. right at bottom of left ribs. i thought it was from making laps in my pool but had been ongoing for months now. did start after covid infection?

Your spleen is located at that site. There are reports of enlarged spleen after covid 19 infection. Please see you doctor for a physical exam and spleen ultrasound or CT scan may be done of splenomegaly is suspected with the exam.
