A member asked:

Thoughts on waiting 4 months for a repeat mri or get a second opinion? there is a 12 mm focus of bright signal on the flair and t2-weighted images at the anterior aspect of the left temporal lobe. this is nonspecific in appearance?

You describe a focal lesion, which may be a site of prior trauma, or even a stroke, but is indeed suspicious for tumor, and needs re-evaluation over a few months. Hard to be precise as have no information regarding symptoms. A second opinion is always of value here and might consult a neurological surgeon. Hope this is just a coincidental finding.
