I would have to see the scan to be sure, but it may be a normal variant prominent vein. If the scan was not read by a neuroradiologist (radiologist with sub-specialty training for brain and spine imaging), the person interpreting the scan may not be familiar with the variability of these vessels. A dural AV fistula or other cause can also produce this appearance, so I would have to review.
